M.Sc. Zoology Entrance , Pune University SPPU (Savitribai Phule Pune University)
To get Admission in Pune University SPPU, university takes entrance examination for all courses. Same thing happens with Zoology subject. Entrance exam is generally get conducted in month of June. Notification appears on web-page of Savitribai Phule Pune University SPPU in the month of April/May.

Note: Admission is based on compilation of marks at B.Sc. Zoology (S.Y. & T.Y.) (50% weightage) and performance in entrance exam. (50% weightage)
|Group B: B. Sc. Graduates of Pune University (Maharashtra Domicile) with Biotechnology, Microbiology, Physics, Chemistry, Botany as principal subject with Zoology as subsidiary subject||60%||55%|
|There is no quota of seats under B category. If those candidates perform less than category A candidates in the entrance test, these seats will be allotted to A Category. |

|Group C: B. Sc. Graduates of any other University with Zoology /Life Sciences / Biological Sciences/Animal Sciences etc. as principal subject. |

|Reservation||1. Out of total intake capacity 70% seats are reserved for SPPU students (Domicile of Maharashtra State). Of these, 50% are for open and 50% are for reserved categories. |
2. Out of total intake capacity, 30% seats are reserved for outside SPPU students of which 50% seats are for open and 50% seats are for reserved category. In the open category 50% seats are reserved for students domicile of Maharashtra and remaining 50% are for students outside Maharashtra state.
* Students graduating from SPPU would be considered under A or B category and students graduating from any other University would be considered under C category.
